CB Control Systems d.o.o. is an industrial automation company that develops software for highly automated manufacturing processes.

From the very start, our company has worked with leading international partners with whom we have collaborated on, and completed, many projects and we have extensive experience working in modern facilities in the automotive industry.

Our specialization is the development of software solutions in the automotive industry on the Siemens SIMATIC S7 platform. We possess extensive knowledge on programming standards from various car Projects: BMW (TMO & TKB), VW (VASS5 & VASS6), Audi (D4), Porsche (VASS5 PO & VASS6 PO).

BMW Munich [’19 – ’21]

In the assembly of chassis, engine and transmission, we put 9 systems into operation and optimized them. Most of them are highly specialized, such as: Pre-assembly of shock absorbers and struts, gearbox pre-assembly, etc. This was the first implementation of TMO v3 and brought with it its own set of challenges. Since 2020 we have been upgrading production lines for new production types and new standard functions (order type assignment from higher systems / IPSQ).

Audi Ingolstadt [’19 – ’22]

In the Assembly line of the Audi Ingolstadt Plant we developed the Software and commissioned the production lines which handled the transition process from Heavy-duty EMS to Floor Conveyor systems. The production of the new vehicle types (PHEV and BEV) was a requirement, so each individual station has the possibility to adjust according to type. One example is the Skid adjustment station, allowing for one type of the Skid to be used for multiple production types.

Started in 2019, we worked on developing 8 new production lines in the assembly, transporting material throughout the Plant. Some of them were rebuilt, some were split from existing lines, some were brand new. Doors removal, Cockpit mounting, logistics, kilometers of EMS rails with track switches, lifters, buffering zones. We developed our library for the TMO v3 FT, and devices such as Track Switches and Paternoster, are now part of the standard.

Audi Böllinger Höfe [19’ – ’21]

We were tasked with the development of the Sofware for Heavy-duty EMS for the Audi plant in BöHö, operated by G120D SINAMICS drives. With 22 vehicles, one main control unit (all 1512-F) we developed and commissioned the production line with few highly specialized stations - such as "marriage" station. In addition, we developed and commissioned the Floor Conveyor production line for battery packs and assembly of the underbody for the new eTron GT, along with its Ident PLC.

Porsche Leipzig [’20 – ’21]

In early 2020 we developed Software and commissioned four production lines that were rebuilt. Located in Bodyshop BT310, it was a gateway for the next project in Porsche Leipzig, since it was directly connected to new BT350 Bodyshop. On top of that, pre-assembly was connected to it as well - which was the next step in our project. Altogether, we worked on 13 production lines, integrating new production types and optimizing the production.

BMW Dadong [’20 – ’21]

During one of the world's most unstable periods, we had taken on responsibility of supervising the project in China during two distinct phases. For the first phase one Floor Conveyor production line and one EMS production line were upgraded and type G68 was integrated for production. In second phase we supervised Software development for 3 FCT and 3 EMS systems, as well as commissioning on site in Plant 19.10 for the new G18 type.

Porsche Leipzig [’21 – ’22]

A large Floor Conveyor Transportation System, consisting of 13 new Skid production lines, located in Bodyshop of the new BT350 building, was written and commissioned.SEW Movi-C generation of inverters were used, including MoviDrive Positionig without motor encoders. Additionally, 5 new EMS production lines were commissiond and 6 older production lines were upgraded for the new typ (Macan NF). In Assebmly line, 6 existing production lines were upgraded for the new product type, including changes to the existing Bodytracking system.

BMW Dingolfing [’21 – ’22]

Multitude of smaller tasks were combined into a larger project, spanning across Plant 2.20 and Plant 2.40. In Bodyshop one new Cable Conveyor (Power and Free), two Electro Monorail and two Floor Conveyor systems were written and commissioned, with 7 additional production lines which were upgraded. For the Assembly line production we upgraded 6 production lines regarding battery production, storage and transportation.

Audi Neckarsulm [’22 – ’23]

Project consist of three distinct phases, each covering one part of a plate conveyors section in Hall A13. In total four PLC Softwares are written on the basis of the old versions (S7 3xx), and one Ident PLC Software is upgraded. Production lines are equipped with new generation of SEW Movi-C devices (MoviMot Flexible and MoviDrive). In addition, virtual commisioning was done using Winmod.

BMW Spartanburg [’22 – ’23]

Project consists of a single new production line and required adaption of ten existing lines. End goal is optimization of the production of existing lines and integration of new types (including PHEV and BEV). Production lines use conveyer technology transportation systems (both floor and hanging monorail) in Bodyshop, Plant 10.10 of BMW Spartanburg Production in Greer, SC, USA. It started in 2022 and expected end date is in Summer of 2023.
